Sumpter Recipes and much more!
"The goal with this cookbook is to present healthy recipes........
made from scratch. Because frying is not good for our health, this cookbook will not contain any fried food recipes! In keeping with the theme of healthy eating, you will also find bits of information that will aid in planning healthy dinners and keeping your body in top condition nutritionally. When using prepared foods, one is not getting the full nutrition available as if it were fresh! By the time the packaging process is complete and you take food from the grocery store shelf, most nutrients are gone. However, if you have the choice of buying frozen or from the produce aisle, frozen would be the best since most of those foods are frozen the same day they are picked........ Of course, to get the most nutrition from your food, it's best to buy it straight from the farm or grow it yourself, using it the same day it is picked. Another very important aspect of eating healthy is to buy organic. With all the chemicals used on the conventional farm, it is no wonder diseases like cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and cholesterol, and diabetes are out of control! We must turn back to the natural way of eating....relying on nutrients God has put into our soil and using good farming strategies. You can still use your favorite recipes.............just replace prepared foods with fresh or frozen and, preferably, organic. To your good health!" Proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Feed the Children Christian organization.
